This policy explains what personal information Find Homes Calgary collects when you request a home valuation, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta privacy law, and our electronic messages follow Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
1. Who we are
Find Homes Calgary is operated by Steve Vrbanic, a licensed REALTOR® brokered through Century 21 Bamber Realty Ltd. (licensed in Alberta, RECA #4827). For any privacy question, contact steve.vrbanic@century21.ca.
2. What we collect
When you submit the valuation form, we collect:
- Your name, email address, and mobile phone number;
- The property address you ask us to value;
- Basic marketing/analytics data tied to your visit — such as the advertising click ID (gclid), campaign parameters (UTM tags), the page you came from, and a timestamp.
3. Why we collect it
We use your information to prepare and send your home valuation, to follow up about it by text or email, and — with your consent — to send occasional Calgary market updates. The marketing/analytics data helps us understand which ads bring in genuine requests so we can improve them.
4. Your consent
By submitting the form and checking the consent box, you give us express consent under CASL to contact you by text and email about your home's value and related market updates. You can withdraw consent at any time — reply STOP to a text, click unsubscribe in any email, or email us — and we'll stop sending commercial messages.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run our lead and messaging tools on our behalf — for example our customer-relationship management (CRM) system, our text-message and email delivery providers, and our website analytics and advertising providers. These providers may store data outside Alberta, including in the United States, and are bound to use it only to provide their service to us.
6. Cookies & tracking
With your consent (via the banner on our site), we use cookies and similar technologies to measure ad performance and improve the page. You can decline non-essential cookies in the banner or through your browser settings.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide your valuation and any follow-up you've consented to, and as required for legitimate business or legal reasons. When it is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
8. Your rights
Under PIPEDA you may ask to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email steve.vrbanic@century21.ca and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
9. How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and limit access to those who need it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent version.
